hey y'all i found this rack in a tree at my grandmas house i didn't even know it was there for YEARS it was covered in green stuff and the squirrels took a big liking to it. they chewed off a big main beam on the right side and most of the non typical stickers.took some simple green and a pressure washer to get it so white. its very symmetrical so i'm guessing the main beam that missing on the right side would be the same as on the left all the tines match up the same except for the stickers all over. curious if any of your awesome taxis are good at re creating the rack for me it was my grandpas buck that he shot in the early 1900s in the wenatchee area so its very sentimental to me. any ideas or suggestions or price ranges would be great!!! thanks!

Boy, that one will be expensive to fix properly . I would charge by the hour for a complete restoration like that and I can say it would not be cheap.

I bet if you want it done so it looks real good... Bucklucky would be your man... judging from all the other work I've seen him do! (which does NOT include any antler restoration :tung:)

Do you have an old photo to try and match it to?  I'm thinking with some of the great folks on here you could find a taxi that would work with a reasonable budget.  I assume you don't want it mounted with a new hide?
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

I'd get it mounted like you found it. It has a story behind it and would be cool to pass it down that way. Why mess with perfection ????
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............
